Bridesmaids carrying coloured flowers…

While wearing blue dresses the bridesmaids can carry a bridal bouquet which color complements their dresses and the brides dress.

Another option is to carry a bridal bouquet in the same colors as their dresses which is also a bouquet that can work for you.

Color of the week: BLUE

  • Blue is a lovely color and there so many color you can choose from to accent it.
  • You can use silver, shades of blue and break it all with a wonderful slight splash of color (if you want to add some color) such as green or a very light pink.
  • Navy blue looks great with bright colors like lime green (chartreuse), lemon yellow, or hot pink.
  • Blue is a popular colour that represents both sea and sky. The colour symbolises some of the following: faith, wisdom, loyalty, truth, heaven, trust, friendship

Wedding Dress

Blue was the colour chosen by brides for the first legal weddings celebrated in Britain. It was chosen as the color for the bride’s gown, as a symbol of purity. White dresses were only introduced after Queen Victoria chose it for her wedding in 1840.

Wedding Bouquets

A blue wedding bouquet is a beautiful & striking colour choice and will make an impression with your family and guests. A blue wedding bouquet and flower symbolises freedom, strength and new beginnings.

Blue is cool, calming, relaxing and refreshing, from the blue water in the ocean to the blue skies.

Examples of blue flowers include like the delphinium (April to October), larkspur (July), hyacinth (spring), pansies (all seasons), anemone (October to May), iris (spring-summer), ageratum (summer), lobelia (August to September), veronica (summer to autumn) and bluebells (April to May).

Castle Wedding in magical Adare Manor hotel & GC

Bride Yolanda….
Muchas Gracias!

Hi Michelle,I just wanted to thank you for a magical day. Throughout everything, your professionalism and responsibility shone through. You were so patient and understanding about everything, and it really meant a lot to me, especially on the wedding day, when everything could have been overwhelming. But, you actually made it all so calm and effortless! As I said before, you have put together an amazing team of people and I was just in love with everything and everyone.

Thank you so much for keeping everything on track and putting together the ceremony and reception of my dreams. The guests are still talking about the wedding and my bridesmaid, Hazel, said that it was the best wedding she ever attended–even better than her own, lol! I never got to thank you for the cake–it was delicious! Please thank the chef for us. The food was also superb and everyone cleaned their plates. I’m still quite euphoric over the day and am so grateful for all you’ve done.
