When it comes to the wedding cake, show your pride by combining wedding tradition with the Pride rainbow.
A rainbow layered cake is a fun, subtle way to celebrate your LGBTQ+ pride. Ask your cake designer to create a matching multi-coloured exterior. Or embrace the element of surprise with a white fondant outer layer, while the inner layers represent the colours of the rainbow.
Make sure you discuss flavours beforehand because certain flavours might not mix well with the food colouring. For example, if you have your heart set on a chocolate cake, the lighter colours might not show up. However, a plain ol’ vanilla sponge isn’t your only option, consider a lemon cake for your summer wedding, or coconut or pecan for the wintertime.

Are you having a large wedding party? Why not coordinate everyone’s ties, pocket squares, dresses or shoes to form a rainbow when they’re up at the altar.
