As the new year is approaching fast, we invite you to swoon with us over our fabulous couples and other Amazing Highlights Of The Year 2016.
Robin & John
In sunny April, we celebrated the stunning destination wedding of Robin and John, who travelled from California to Ireland to get married on the beautiful estate of Ballyfin Demesne, the world’s No. 1 Condé Nast hotel.
The couple organised a four-day celebration for their friends and family members, including a Whiskey Tasting and an all-white party the day after their wedding.
Robin and John’s contemporary and unique style was woven throughout the entire wedding celebrations with floral arrangements, including white peonies and roses, and a fabulous 6 tier wedding cake.
Jessica & Damien
In May, we organised a beautiful coastal wedding at Trump International Hotel, Doonbeg for Jessica from Toronto and Cavan-native Damien. The couple decided on a charming church ceremony, exquisitely decorated in white florals, petals and candles.
A hint of blue, in form of gorgeous blue hydrangea, was added to their all-white colour palette, which were also to be found in Jessica’s bouquet and on the seven-tier wedding cake with sugar paste flowers.
Debra & Jim, James & Allie
In June, Debra and Jim, as well as their son James and his wife Allie renewed their vows in charming Knappogue Castle after 49 and 9 years of marriage. The family decided Ireland would serve as the perfect place for their fairy-tale celebrations.
For both couples the day had to include a carriage ride, stunning flowers, enchanting harp music and of course a beautiful Irish castle.
Natalie & Michael
While Natalie and Michael, also from the USA, chose the magnificent Dromoland Castle for their wedding in Ireland. The weather was perfectly sunny for an outdoor ceremony in the estate’s Walled Garden with some traditional Irish elements being included in the Celtic ceremony.
Their décor included lush centrepieces in burgundy and ivory, which brought romance and warmth to the celebrations. The guests enjoyed a delicious four tier wedding cake and the fantastic music of a 6-piece band.
Chelsea & Nathaniel
In August, we organised a stunning destination wedding for Chelsea and Nathaniel in Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin. The couple, living in Florida, were delighted to have friends and families travel from all over the USA to join them for their special occasion.
The couple’s wedding day decorations were classic and elegant with lots of candle light and flowers. A String Quartet entertained the guests with enchanting music and the wedding cake was a right-on trend naked cake with fresh berries.
We are looking forward to organising lots more fabulous destination weddings in Ireland in 2017!
