The warmth of the Irish sun shone throughout a simply sensational celebration in Mount Juliet. With a truly unforgettable, bespoke orangery and elegant style tied throughout all elements of the day, our couple’s vision came to life as they brought those closest to them together to celebrate their Dream Irish Wedding.
The Couple
Our bride and groom met through mutual friends at a birthday party in London. Sparking a connection, they spared no time and went on their first date the very next day.
That spark ignited and turned into a love story that brought them to the stunning surroundings of Mount Juliet in Co. Kilkenny for their Dream Irish Wedding.
The Destination: Mount Juliet Estate
When deciding on a destination wedding venue, the couple kept their guests in mind. Top of their list was a venue that would be accessible to an airport as a lot of their friends would be flying in to celebrate the weekend with them.
With its prestigious golf course and rolling acres of surrounding grounds, Mount Juliet was the clear choice for our couple who explained:
“The moment we saw Mount Juliet and met the team, we knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding. It had old world charm and tradition as well as modern luxury.”
The Orangery
Following a beautiful ceremony in Kilkenny City, guests returned to the Manor House at Mount Juliet for an outdoor drinks reception in the warm Irish sun before heading to the Orangery.
A showstopping, bespoke structure constructed in the stunning walled garden.
Inside, chandeliers sparkled as golden hour began to set in and the Orangery transformed as celebrations continued past sunset.
Décor was kept classic and elegant as tables were set with crisp white linens and baby’s breath centrepieces.
Guests went from day to night, dinner to dancing under the glittering chandeliers and magnificent floral hanging that created a truly special celebration for our couple.
While choosing one highlight from a simply unforgettable day was almost impossible, when we asked our couple, they shared:
“The highlight for both of us was seeing all of our family and friends mixing and having fun.”
We loved every moment of planning this wedding celebration.
Being a part of this wedding and bringing our talented team of Irish vendors and creatives together was one of the highlights of our 2024 wedding season.
If you’re thinking of planning your own Dream Irish Wedding, our bride shared this advice:
“Try to have a clear idea of what you’d both like the day to mean to both of you and, of course, have a fantastic wedding planner!”
A heartfelt thank you to the talented creative team who came together to create this most spectacular day.
