A marquee ceremony is one way to put a unique spin on an otherwise traditional day. Tatiana and Gary continued to add their personalities to every element of their unforgettable Dream Irish Wedding in the magnificent surroundings of Adare Manor.
The Couple: Tatiana & Gary
Tatiana and Gary’s romance began in 2011 when they first crossed paths in a bar in Basel, Switzerland. From there, love blossomed, leading them to a truly breathtaking wedding celebration.
The Destination: Adare Manor
Luxury and elegance exude from every corner of Adare Manor. One of Ireland’s top-tier wedding destinations, couples and their guests travel far and wide to spend time in this 5-star Co. Limerick setting.
With a large wedding party, finding a venue that could accommodate everyone was at the top of Tatiana and Gary’s wish list. Opting for an outdoor marquee ceremony was the perfect solution.
As Tatiana explains, “We chose Adare Manor as our venue for its unmatched luxury and the exclusivity it provided. With many of our guests travelling from overseas, the venue’s ability to comfortably host our entire wedding party was essential.”
The hospitality and welcome shown by the staff made their decision to secure Adare Manor as their wedding venue easy: “From our initial visit, we were touched by the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff. The outstanding culinary experiences, along with the breathtaking beauty of the estate’s grounds, truly won our hearts.”
The Ceremony
Set in the fairytale walled garden in Adare Manor, an outdoor marquee ceremony was set up to add a unique spin to a traditional element of the wedding day.
Gold and white drapery lined the walls and ceiling to create a spectacular space as guests arrived.
White and green foliage down the aisle guided our couple to the centre stage. The custom golden backdrop created a unique focal point to ensure all eyes were on the bride and groom as they stood, surrounded by stunning floral arrangements, to exchange vows.
Guests were guided by a bagpiper back to the Manor following the ceremony to continue the celebrations. A true highlight for our couple, as Tatiana explained, ”The day was full of unforgettable moments. The bespoke ceremony, the beautiful melodies of the bagpiper and the joy radiating from our guests as they celebrate are memories we treasure deeply.”
The Bride
Tatiana wowed guests in her stunning Suzanne Neville bridal gown. The lace detail on the capped sleeves added an extra touch of elegance. A floor-length veil completed the look as she walked down the aisle towards Gary.
When we asked Tatiana if she had any advice for newly engaged couples, she shared this wisdom:
“Organization is crucial in the orchestration of your wedding day. Securing professional assistance can be invaluable in managing the extensive details involved in planning such a significant celebration. It’s also important to stay true to yourselves as a couple. Reflect on what is most meaningful to both of you rather than conforming to expectations set by others. Whether you envision a traditional wedding or a more unconventional celebration, remember, it is your day to mark your love in your own unique way.”
The Décor
Led back to the main ballroom by a bagpiper, guests were met with a welcoming reception, including the opportunity to have a personalised portrait painted. The couple truly created an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
Tables were adorned with showstopping floral centrepieces, candlelight and greenery to create a warm and elegant setting to continue celebrations.
Tatiana and Gary’s beloved dog was included in the day as their cake topper, moulded from chocolate. A lovely touch.
Kind words from Tatiana & Gary:
“From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you for organising our special day. The event has been planned to perfection and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This would not have been possible without all of your hard work and years of experience.”
Thank you to the talented, creative team involved in putting together this Dream Irish Wedding.
